We at the Eta Delta chapter of Sigma Chi understand the new decisions you are facing in beginning your years at Tennessee Tech. We encourage you to get involved on campus and to make the most of your college years!

By joining Sigma Chi, you will grow as a man, meet new and different people, and make life long memories. With 235 undergraduate chapters internationally, Sigma Chi is among the most elite networking resources. Most importantly, you will find everlasting friendships and ideals by which to live your life.

Sigma Chi was founded in 1855 at the Miami University of Ohio. We were established locally in 1970 based on the ideals of friendship, justice, and learning. Sigma Chi believes in leadership by encouraging their members to take on leadership roles and also a conviction to helping others. We hope that your desire to succeed will not only help Sigma Chi to be great, but will strengthen the Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, and Tennessee Tech University as a whole.

Sigma Chi has an annual philanthropy event, Derby Days, that brings together all the sororities and fraternities to benefit the Huntsman Cancer Institute. In 2013 Sigma Chi International raised $800,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Institue. Our goal for 2014 is to raise a record $1,000,000!

Sigma Chi also believes in academic excellence. The Sigma Chi Fraternity Scholarship Foundation is the most genorous among the Greek Fraternal World awarding a record $320,000 in academic scholarships in 2013. Through scholarships, study programs, and perseverance the Eta Delta chapter continues to excel academically.
