The TTU Student Fisheries Association was established in 1988 with the hope of uniting
students interested in the fisheries profession. The Tennessee Tech SFA is part of the
Tennessee Chapter of the American Fisheries Society.
The Association actively participates in lake and stream clean-up projects,
hosting guest speakers from aquatic resource professions, organizing the annual Kid's Fishing Derby,
as well as various other activities. Membership into the SFA is open to anyone
interested in fisheries or fisheries related issues.
Please stop by Pennebaker Hall, Room 320 on the last Thursday of each month for our meetings!
They will resume this September, 2012.
