Mission
Our Mission is to bring an interaction between the Muslim community at Tennessee Tech as well as the Cookeville community. MSO wants to involve, entertain and educate all individuals and organizations with different social, cultural and religious backgrounds. MSO has always had the privilage of having students and faculty from many different Islamic and non Islamic countries around the world who with their different cultures and backgrounds brings the perfect harmony to our organization. MSO is a non profit student organization run by donations from the community members. For Supporting MSO or Upper Cumberland Islamic Society (UCIS) financially please contact the persons listed below.
Note: MSO primary responsiblity and interest is towards serving the students and staff at Tennessee Technological university. Community members and visitors are entertained upon discretion.
Facilities
MSO currently organizes regular daily prayers and Jumah Prayers on campus. MSO arranges Taraweh prayers during the holy month of Ramadan. MSO also organizes seminars, lectures and various activities through out the year.

Please take an appointment by either e-mail as office is closed most of the time
DIRECTIONS: If you are coming in from Willow, turn east at
the 12th Avenue traffic light and then turn left at the street before the
next traffic signal light (opposite football field, Tucker Stadium). This is
Virginia Avenue. The house is located on the corner of Virginia Avenue and 13th
Street. Please enter from the 13th street entrance. You will see a
gravel driveway.
