The BSU/ BCM symbol is a very important reminder of all that the group strives for in its ministry to students on college campuses across the world.

In its most basic form, the symbol represents the two-dimensional thrust of the program as well as that of an individual Christian's life. The inward dimension (or inward journey) is symbolized by five arrows pointing inward to Christ at the center. The outward dimension (outward journey) is symbolized by five arrows pointing outward "to the ends of the earth."

It is extremely important that the program and organization or TTU Student Ministries - BSU/ BCM reflect this balanced concept of growth.

Jesus said, "Come to me ... learn from me" (Matthew 11:28-29 NIV).
The inward journey involves five aspects of growth:
  1. Worship -- Praise, adoration, and thanksgiving to God (Colossians 3:16).
  2. Bible Study -- Learning and living his Word (Acts 17:11).
  3. Discipleship -- Applying the lordship of Christ to all of life (Colossians 3:17,23-24)
  4. Fellowship -- Sharing life and love with brothers and sisters in Christ (Acts 4:32)
  5. Churchmanship -- Being involved in the life and ministry of the total body of Christ through the local church (1 Corinthians 12:12-13,27).
Jesus also said, "Go and make disciples of all nations ..." (Matthew 28:19 NIV)
Therefore, the outward journey involves five aspects of outreach:
  1. Evangelism -- Sharing the good news of Christ with other
