Casting Expo

April 15 - 19, 2005:  We had a good trip to St. Louis if you forget about the flat tire and the speeding ticket.  It was very informative and we learned a lot.  We look forward to next year and this summer hope everyone has a good summer.

Golf Outing

April 8, 2005:  The golf outing was a success.  We raised funds for the trip to St. Louis and had a lot of fun.

Flotret Box

We built a flotret box it is used to hold a charge of magnesium to inoculate the iron turning it into ductile iron.  Here are a couple pictures of the project so far. Click to enlarge.

Skeet and trap shooting

First annual Skeet and trap shoot was Friday February 18th at Bend of the River.  It was a fun day of skeet shooting.  We have decided to create trophies for next semester to boost attendance.  We will have a gold medal (Bronze), a silver metal (Aluminum) and a bronze metal (Iron).  The trophies will be engraved with the students name and the date of the competition.  The score to beat from this semester is 14.  Lets see if we can't beat that next semester.  We look forward to seeing you there.
